Kellen joined The Grove in August of 2021, and serves as our Family Life Pastor. Kellen is from Bentonville, Arkansas, and recently graduated from Ozark Christian College in Joplin Missouri, with his Bachelor of Arts in Christain Student Ministry. Kellen’s passion is to be able to serve students within the local church, and to create an environment where both kids and students can come and encounter Jesus Christ. In his free time, Kellen enjoys fishing, playing & watching basketball, and golfing. Kellen oversees all kids and students from birth through 12th grade. If you are a parent or guardian interested in the opportunities for your children here at The Grove, you can contact Kellen through his email: kellenedwards@thegrove.church.
Sara and her amazing husband, Chad, have been members of The Grove since 2002. They currently live in Pickerington with their three daughters and a lazy German shorthaired pointer mix.
Sara has always been involved in a variety of roles with our Children’s Ministry, including 4 years as Children’s Director and the past 3 years as Associate Children’s Pastor. She loves GroveKids! She especially loves helping children, together with their families, grow a strong and rooted relationship with Jesus. Getting to know the children’s unique personalities is also a passion for Sara.
Sara’s other passions include reading (it’s an addiction), good coffee (also an addiction), and spending time with her family and friends. Sara also greatly enjoys hosting a small group, along with her husband, at their home.
Brenda joined the staff at The Grove in 2017 as the Office Manager. Her days are filled with making order out of chaos while simultaneously making sure everyone has the tools and resources needed for ministry and volunteer positions around the church. She enjoys singing and serving, cooking and creating, dancing, and digging in the dirt. Traveling is another great favorite, especially when it involves visiting grandchildren. Her husband is the Pastor here at the Grove. They have been married since 1981, and have 3 grown children, 2 grandchildren, and two very silly, lovable dogs, Oscar and Tilly!
She is passionate about the truth of God’s word. One of her many favorite Bible verses is found in Deuteronomy 33:27, “The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.”
